DRZEWA DAWNO ZMARŁY
Czarny las, martwy mrok, dzień bez odrobiny światła.
Gęsta mgła kłębi się, bielą dławiąc wszelki dźwięk.
Pod warstwami ciszy faluje pomruk - ponury, złowieszczy, pachnący zimą. Od runa ciągnie podziemnym chłodem – umarłe rośliny...
Krzyknąłeś w głąb ciemności, aż zawrzała czerń,
a w odpowiedzi milczy las wciąż natarczywiej.
Pustka poraża zmysły, noc zasnuwa oczy,
jak ślepiec - ręce naprzód w nicość wyciągnięte.
W rozpaczy szuka drogi dłoń w mgle zanurzona,
ścieżka wyryta, spisana we krwi,
w pamięci ciała.
Przesz naprzód wciąż, choć nogi ciążą ci jak ołów,
aż wyrosną przed tobą białe kamienne mury.
Po krętych schodach wieży, płosząc uśpione ptaki.
U szczytu wiatr od gór, jodłowy wiatr od gór.
Zostaniesz tu, dopóty przyjdzie czas by umrzeć znów,
w nicości znów utonąć, rozpłynąć się w bieli,
i znowu iść, gdzie ścieżka dąży nieskończona,
ścieżka wyryta, spisana we krwi,
w pamięci ciała.
Unosisz głowę wysoko na wiatr,
przełykasz piołun swej dumy i trwasz,
Dziś jeszcze to ja słucham,
żegnam dalekie ciepło,
drżące jak wątły płomyk
wokół śmiertelnych ciał.
I widzę zimny ogrom
pustego nieba, które
kładzie się na nas obojętne,
czyniąc to wszystko tak...

THE TREES HAVE LONG DIED
Black forest, dead murk, a day without a ray of light.
Dense fog whirls, choking every sound with whiteness.
Under the layers of silence, the murmur swells - gloomy, ominous, smelling like winter. The undergrowth whiffs underground cold - dead plants…
You cried out into the depths of darkness so the blackness boiled,
but the forest keeps persistently silent in reply.
Emptiness paralyzes senses, the night covers the eyes,
like a blind man – hands reaching forward into nothingness.
A hand immersed in the mist looks for the way in despair,
for a grain of light moans the hungry heart.
Cold, bark under the fingers, flash - thought unfinished,
but you do not feel the rhythm of sap pulses within.
Everything that once lived is turned into coal
and nothing responds to a terrified touch.
Fainted fingers slide down the dead bark.
The fog is the silence, trees have long died.
In this dream, there is no other living being.
Fangs of petrified trunks protrude from the fog,
cold as graves.
Your thoughts, your feet are driven through dreams,
by the trail that you've walked thousands of times,
the path engraved, written in blood,
in the memory of the body.
You keep pushing forward, though your legs weigh like lead,
till white stone walls emerge in front of you.
Up the winding stairs of the tower, scaring the sleeping birds.
At the top, the wind from the mountains, fir-like wind from the mountains.
You will stay here, till the time comes to die again,
again to drown in nothingness, to dissolve into white,
and go again where the endless path leads,
to the tower, to look at the distant world,
where life smoulders in alien bluish expanses,
where there's life you will never know,
where there's life that was not meant for you,
a world that will never belong to you.
It draws your thoughts, your feet through dreams,
the trail that you've walked thousands of times,
path engraved, written in blood,
in the memory of the body .
You lift your head high in the wind,
you swallow the wormwood of your pride and abide,
until the dead circle resumes its futile run,
repeats everything.
Even if you could turn back the time, you would come here again.
As a sacrifice for those who don’t need it,
a sacrifice for eternity that has it for nothing,
and for the dead gods turned into dust,
and for deaf ashes,
in which there is no salvation.
Today - it’s still me who is listening,
saying goodbye to a distant warmth,
quivering like a faint flame
around mortal bodies.
And I see a cold magnitude
of the empty sky which
is lying down on us, indifferent,
making it all so ...

It is different than previous releases, nonetheless it is astonishing and beautiful homage to nature. One reproach, like both previous albums this one too flown by so quickly. Do yourself a favor and listen to this music in forest you like to visit. Hedensk Hjerte

I love to listen to this during work, it fills me with calmness and I can almost smell the scents of the forest.
Beautiful & serene from start to finish. SilverFolfy
